Hiwinui Country Estate is an exclusive venue for luxurious and bespoke events designed to cater to those seeking sophistication and exclusivity for their next special occasion. We are nestled in the heart of the countryside while being only 10 minutes from Palmerston North.
With its timeless elegance and stunning landscapes, Hiwinui Country Estate creates a backdrop unlike any other for any event from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. We host private functions, sophisticated Christmas parties, car launches, book launches, private press releases, awards nights and other corporate events ensuring each event that is unique to your vision.
We have an indoor/covered outdoor area space to suit up to 70 people as cocktail style or up to 150 people in a marquee if required.

Sip & Savour
1st March 2025
12 noon - 6pm
Get ready to treat your senses at our first ever boutique food and beverage festival! This event will bring together a curated selection of artisan dishes and a variety of beverages from top vendors.
With upbeat music and a vibrant atmosphere, Sip & Savour promises an unforgettable afternoon of flavor and fun.
The festival will be held at the stunning, sheltered rural setting at Hiwinui Country Estate (click here for map).
Only 10 minutes from both Palmerston north and Feilding, the site is easily accessible to locals and visitors to the district. A shuttle service will run to and from the event to ensure you arrive on time and get home safely. Reservations are essential, you can add this to your ticket when you purchase.

- Due to alcohol being sold on site, this is an R18 event.
- No animals will be permitted at the event

Hiwinui Sunflower Field

Step into a sea of golden blooms at Hiwinui Country Estate's Sunflower Field. Perfect for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts, our vibrant sunflower field will be open this summer of 2025 for a limited time to the public.
Wander through the blooms in our field of love, capturing breathtaking moments and immerse yourself in the countryside. Whether you're visiting for a peaceful escape, a family outing, or a scenic photoshoot, our sunflower field is a magical backdrop for making memories.
Our sunflower field also will feature a private space that can be hired out by the hour, perfect spot date nights, proposals or even a small wedding!
Our picnic area will provide lawn games and activities to keep the kids entertained. Pack your picnic and head on out to Hiwinui Country Estate sunflower field. It is a must do for this summer.
